Truth be told, pumpkins are incredibly versatile. They can be cooked, crafted, composted, and even turned into yummy treats for your pets. Here’s a guide to making the most of our post-Halloween pumpkin patches.
Halloween Pumpkin Leftovers
Let’s start with the basics: pumpkin puree is the base for so many delicious recipes, and making it at home is surprisingly easy. Simply cut your pumpkin in half, scoop out the seeds (set them aside; we’ll get to those next!), and roast it in the oven at 350°F until soft – usually about 45 minutes to an hour.
