This Weekend Weather Created Messy Days for the Northeast and Beyond

9 months agoThis weekend weather was wild for the East Coast as two storms came together to unleash a significant amount of rain and snow mixed across the region.
Here is a look back at the rocky first weekend weather forecast of spring.
Storms Collide to Produce Powerful Weather Elements
It was a disappointing weekend for residents of the East Coast that were hoping to get outside for some springtime fun. A storm coming down from Canada and a different storm system moving up from the Gulf of Mexico merged together along the Atlantic Seaboard this past weekend, creating a powerful force of rain and snow mixed for a large swath of the nation.
The first storm system got its start in western Canada, eventually tracking into the north-central U.S. early last week and dumping snow across this part of the country.
