The Southern storms that have been affecting this region of the U.S. are still in full swing heading into the new work week. Multi-day severe weather in Southeast, South-central, and the Gulf Coast U.S. is forecast to linger through at least Monday.

Here is what you need to know about the parade of Southern storms still unfolding across this part of the country.

Southern Storms to Linger Through Monday

It has been a rocky weekend for a large portion of the southern U.S. The unsettled weather is set to stick around into the beginning of the new week, bringing impacts such as heavy rain, hail, and an outside threat of tornadoes.

A stalled frontal boundary is to blame for the inclement conditions that will not budge. The multiple rounds of Southern storms will continue to push to the east from Texas and into the Carolinas throughout Sunday and Monday.
