9 months agoIt is going to feel significantly colder on Thursday throughout the Northeast as a cold front arrives and sends the temperatures dropping like a rock. Temperatures Plummeting Across the Northeast but Not for Long
It will be a cold last day of February for the Northeast, however, the frigid temperatures will not hang around for long. The air will feel even chillier on the heels of the springlike weather that residents throughout the eastern half of the country have enjoyed to close out the month of February.
Readings over the last few days in the Northeast have hovered in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. An advancing cold front is already trimming those temperatures early Thursday, bringing in air that feels more typical of late February.
