We hate to even say it but, on the heels of Helene, a new tropical depression is forming in the Gulf of Mexico, making its way towards the Florida coast as early as next week.

Tropical Storm Milton has taken shape and is expected to intensify before striking the Florida peninsula as a hurricane with heavy downpours, strong winds, and major flooding.

The Atlantic hurricane season was always forecast to be a strong one and, especially in the last few weeks, it’s been meeting expectations. In the past few days, alone, thunderstorms have been cropping up, back to back, in the Gulf of Mexico.
