Dry and Calm Weather Pattern About to Come to an End in the Eastern U.S.
It has been a calm few days across most of the eastern U.S. this week. However, forecasters are predicting that conditions are about to change quickly in the coming days.
This system is part of the same weather maker that originated in the Southern Rockies during the middle of the week before moving into the south-central states and across the Gulf Coast.
The storm has already brought snow and heavy rain to areas in its path. The system is forecast to push through the Gulf Coast in the coming days and pick up more moisture from the nearby Gulf of Mexico. This will fuel its future development as it moves up the East Coast to close out the weekend.
