An early May storm system is gearing up to dump significant amounts of rain and snow mixed across much of the West Coast beginning on Friday and lasting through the weather this weekend.
While the moisture will fall as mostly rain in the Pacific Northwest, the Sierra Nevada will pick up a few feet of snow out of this incoming system.
