On March 12, 2025, SpaceX successfully launched another batch of Starlink satellites, reinforcing its commitment to global satellite-based internet connectivity. This mission, designated Starlink 12-21, continues the company’s rapid expansion of its broadband network, providing high-speed internet access to underserved and remote areas. 

As one of the many launches SpaceX has executed in 2025, this mission increases Starlink’s mission in satellite communications. With each successful deployment, SpaceX moves closer to achieving its goal of providing worldwide coverage through its growing constellation of satellites.

Mission Overview

The Starlink 12-21 mission took off at precisely 10:35 p.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The launch utilized SpaceX’s workhorse rocket, the Falcon 9, to deliver 21 Starlink satellites into Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Among these, 13 satellites carried SpaceX's new Direct-to-Cell capability, a major step in enhancing mobile connectivity across the globe.
