Soggy Saturday in Store for the Eastern Seaboard but What Will Sunday Bring?

A wet Saturday for the Northeast will be a harbinger of things to come in the coming week as spring settles in. Here is a look at what is on tap for this weekend and what is lurking in the background.

Eastern Seaboard Prepares for Soggy Saturday

The first Saturday of spring will be a washout for much of the Northeast as an approaching rainstorm gears up to dump a significant amount of moisture across the region.

The populated Interstate 95 corridor will be ground zero for the onslaught of rain, prompting concerns of urban flooding and major disruptions to outdoor activities.

The rain will begin to pick up in intensity late Friday, slowing down travel for motorists headed out for the weekend. You should expect slow travel as the result of flooding and poor visibility, particularly in poor drainage areas.
