Snow and Ice to Bring Dangerous Travel Conditions to the Northeast U.S.
Alexis Thornton
Last yearThe Northeast U.S. has been experiencing weather whiplash these last couple weeks as temperatures have been shifting back and forth from fall-like to winter-like.
After a warmer weekend, more winter weather will be making its way into the region, bringing, snow, ice, and freezing rain.
Who is at Risk?
Snow, sleet, and freezing rain is expected to target areas of New England and upstate New York from Wednesday evening into Thursday. But colder air from a storm traveling east will be pushed more south through Tuesday and Tuesday night.
The storm will bring cloud cover and rain showers across the Northeast early in the week. By midweek, a second storm will travel farther south and bring wintry conditions along with it.
