Second Summer Means Wildfires, Tornadoes and Tropical Storms in the United States

5 months agoAlthough autumn technically kicks off on September 1st from a meteorological standpoint, numerous people will have to wait a bit longer before those famous pumpkin spice vibes set in.
For 2024, fall is predicted to be warmer than usual, which brings with it the danger of extreme weather conditions and an increased risk of wildfires.
When summer doesn't want to end
Most people have come to expect and adore the transformation that nature undergoes during this time of year. Some love the colors, cooler temperatures and the retreat of getting snug and comfortable indoors under a warm blanket.
But many people might start to get the feeling that summer has stuck around for too long this year and wonder when the fall-like weather will appear.
Astronomical fall begins on September 22nd for 2024, nearly a month into meteorological fall. But no matter which method of marking the seasons you prefer, it's going to be a warm one. Many have been left to wonder whether or not there will be any late-autumn snowfall at all.
This slow transition into fall is set to impact the vast majority of the United States. As a result, outdoor summer activities and projects won't wind down as they normally do once fall's chill begins to set in. For those who love summer, it might sound like an extended vacation.
