8 months agoMillions in the Northeast were left scratching their heads over the weekend as the weather was more reminiscent of the dead of winter than early spring.
Colder temperatures, strong winds, and snow squalls dominated the weather landscape over the last few days in this part of the country but relief is on the way. Here is a look at what forecasters are predicting for this drier weather in the upcoming few days.
Rise in Mercury Starts on Tuesday for Ohio Valley Before Marching to the East
A return to a milder weather pattern is in store for the Northeast and beyond this week, much to the relief of those who are growing tired of winter. A significant change will begin in the Ohio Valley before moving to the east with warmer temperatures and drier conditions.
The mercury will begin its upswing on Tuesday for Ohio Valley weather. For example, Indianapolis is forecast to reach a high of about 67 degrees on Tuesday under a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Overnight lows will settle in the upper 40s across the Motor City.
