BREAKING: Small Plane Crash in Boca Raton Leaves Three Dead, One Injured

What We Know About the Aircraft and Flight Path

At approximately 10:20 a.m. local time, a Cessna 310R departed from Boca Raton Airport in route to Tallahassee International Airport. Shortly after takeoff, the pilot reported mechanical issues, specifically with the rudder system. The aircraft attempted to return to the airport but crashed on North Military Trail near Butts Road, erupting into flames upon impact.

Victims Identified as Investigation Begins

Three occupants of the aircraft—two men and one woman—were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released. A motorist whose vehicle was struck by debris sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
